TRAVEL WITHIN THE LAKESTONE RESORT AREA

How will we get from our home to the various amenities within the resort?

There will be an extensive trail system throughout the resort and you will be able to walk, ride your bike or use your golf cart to move around the resort; in addition you will be able to drive on the road system.

Can I own a private golf cart and use it on the resort?

Yes, this is encouraged.

Will I be able to drive my golf cart to the golf course, marina or village centre?

Yes, there will be a trail system for golf carts and provision for crossing under or over roads in instances where use of a cart would not be permitted.

Will there be walking trails on which motorized vehicles will not be allowed?

Yes, there will be trails in the resort lands and connected to the community trail system on which motorized vehicles will not be permitted.

Where will I park my golf cart?

Each residence will have a parking spot provided for one golf cart, usually as part of the garage.

CONDITIONS OF RESIDENCE

Will I be able to live full time in the LakeStone Resort?

Yes, all residences are zoned to permit full time residency, and we anticipate that many people will enjoy making LakeStone their permanent residence.

Will I be able to rent my residence?

You will be able to rent your residence subject to a minimum of a one-month rental.

Can I operate my residence as a Bed and Breakfast?

No, commercial operations such as B&B's and stores will not be permitted in residences.

If I buy a lot now and do not build can I put a trailer on my lot?

No, there will be no tents, trailers or RV’s permitted.

Is there a Disclosure Statement?

Yes, be sure to read the Disclosure Statement for each offering.

Are there Design Guidelines for the resort?

Yes, there is a comprehensive set of Design Guidelines for all aspects of construction at LakeStone.

Is there any requirement on completion of construction on the estate lots once construction begins?

Yes, each contract will have a requirement and provisions to ensure the diligent progress on construction and the completion of construction once it starts.

Who will build the villas?

20|20 Resorts is the developer and they will control the building of the villas by reputable builders to ensure consistency and quality of delivery.

Will there be furniture packages for the villas?

Yes there will be furniture package for the villas from an outside supplier but these will be at the option of the individual owner to select.

TIMELINES FOR DEVELOPMENT

When will the various parts of the resort be available?

LakeStone Resort is envisioned to be a 10-year development. Ultimately the market will determine the actual timing that is experienced, but at this time we anticipate the following:
  • golf course construction will likely start in 2008, golf course first play 2010 or earlier
  • marina and lake club construction will start in 2007, marina moorage first availability 2009
  • The LakeStone hotel and the village construction will start in 2010 or sooner
  • LakeStone Village construction start 2010

Are the above dates guaranteed?

It is not possible to guarantee dates but to the very best of our ability we have set these dates as achievable and expect to deliver at the times indicated.
