What facilities will be available for all to use?The trail system and open spaces will be public and available without charge to the
individual user.
Will the LakeStone Homeowners' Society pay for the maintenance of any of these amenities? The LakeStone Homeowners' Society will pay for the maintenance of all on site
amenities including trail maintenance. We do expect a contribution towards the
trail maintenance from Lake Country to offset costs. The golf course and marina
will be operated by separate not for profit societies.
How will we access the different amenities? There will be an Annual Membership Fee assessed by the LakeStone Homeowners'
Society for the social club, which will provide for access to the clubhouse(s), pool,
fitness and lifestyle centre.
What is the Lifestyle Centre? This will be a members only centre with extensive fitness equipment including free
weights, lockers, change rooms, separate men's and women's sauna, steam and hot
tubs, a large indoor/outdoor pool and a lounge.
What is not included in the Social Club Fees? Some of the special use facilities such as the golf course and the marina will not be
included in the social club.
How do we pay for the use of the marina and golf course?Owners wishing to use these facilities will elect to join the Golf Club and/or the
Yacht Club and will be assessed additional annual fees for the use of these facilities.
What if I do not join in the first years of the development and then want to join the Golf Club or Yacht Club; will there always be spots available? Each of these clubs will have a limited number of active memberships available. If
you wish to join and there is no active membership available you will be placed on
a priority wait list and you will be invited to join as an active member once a current
member becomes inactive.
If I am an active member in the current year, of either golf or yacht, do I get priority for membership in the following year?Yes, current year active members will have a window of time in which they can elect
to remain active for the following year on a priority basis.
What if I am active one year and then inactive; do I have priority when I wish to become active again? An active member who elects to go inactive for one year will then be treated in the
same priority as any other inactive member at any time in the future when they elect to return to active membership status.
If I own property and decide to rent it out, do the renters have access as members? The intent is to create a private residence community with some of the key
facilities for the exclusive use and enjoyment of the residents. The LakeStone
Homeowners’ Society and Golf Course and Marina Societies will be able to decide
on the specific answer to this question at a later date.
